Cameron Lyon is an artist raised in Calgary, AB, and currently creating on the unceded territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples in Victoria, BC.
Guided by a fascination with the complexities of the material world, Lyon’s practice slows the gaze and invites deeper looking. Her work transforms overlooked details into sites of meaning, exploring themes of nostalgia, femininity, and the hidden narratives embedded in everyday things. Through this lens of exploration and introspection, she celebrates the quiet power of noticing — encouraging viewers to find beauty and significance in what might otherwise go unseen.
